You can download an overview map of the complete SOSCT route network here. Hard copies of the new SOSCT leaflet, including this map at A2 scale, are available from BHS Scotland, Woodburn, Crieff or by e-mailing bhsscotland@bhs.org.uk.

Digitised Ordnance Survey maps of the complete SOSCT route network are available online through BHS EMAGIN's equine mapping system, which you can access by clicking here.   Starting from the "Routes by Region" section, choose Scotland, under which you will find a list of routes, including all of the SOSCT routes.  The street plan view will give you an overview but a word of warning: the overview map of South of Scotland Countryside Trails does not currently show ALL of the SOSCT routes - you may need to go back to routes by region and look under the list for Scotland.  By changing the map type to OS 1:2,500, you will be able to see each individual route precisely mapped at large scale, and at this scale all the routes are shown, so by tracking up/down or east/west you will be able to locate linking routes.  If you have any difficulties downloading BHS EMAGIN, please contact BHS at their Stoneleigh HQ.

Individual leaflets including maps are available for routes around North Tweeddale (West Linton area east of the Pentlands), Central Tweeddale (Peebles and Eddleston), East Tweeddale (Innerleithen and Walkerburn), Ae Forest in Dumfries and Galloway, and the Cheviot Hills.  These leaflets should be available from Visitor Information Centres in the Borders, or BHS Scotland would be happy to post copies to you.  Contact Helene Mauchlen, BHS Scotland Development Officer, Woodburn, Crieff tel. 01764 656334 / 07808 141077,  or e-mail h.mauchlen@bhs.org.uk.
